Site of the Battle of Uhud (3 AH) and resting place of Sayyiduna Hamzah and seventy companions. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it."

Visiting etiquette
Give salam to the martyrs from behind the fence; climbing the Archers Hill is permitted, littering is not. Very hot at midday — bring water.

Paved viewing area; the hill itself is a rocky climb.
